The CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella, described AuraPortal as a global leader in the Business Process Management (BPM) category. Furthermore, he commented on their recognition as a Visionary in the latest reports from the prestigious research and advisory firm, Gartner Inc.
The event was a great success, uniting 6700 developers (including 1700 attendees and 5000 online viewers). Moreover, the conference reached maximum capacity as it displayed the Sold Out sign. The participation of Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft Corporation, generated much excitement, as it was his first official visit to Spain and the first time he has participated in the dotNet Spain Conference.
Satya Nadella gave a 30 minute presentation in which he spoke in front of a 25×10 meter screen. During his keynote session Satya Nadella chose to highlight the work of ISVs (Independent Software vendors) and explained the mission, vision and opportunities that Microsoft provides developers worldwide, highlighting the importance of cloud computing in the current environment and stressing “the tremendous opportunity developers have” in this new digital era, whilst acknowledging that there is no part of the economy that isn’t being fundamentally changed by digital technology.
Of all the ISVs, AuraPortal was included in the CEO of Microsoft’s speech with acclamations such as:
“AuraPortal is a leading vendor in BPM and Gartner recognizes them as a visionary”
“It’s fantastic to see a Spanish company that’s fundamentally a leader in a new category called business process management”
